  • Membership Directory
Enables FGDC to comply with 43 U.S.C. § 2802(b) by maintaining an up‑to‑date directory of Committee members—including subcommittees and working groups—including the chair, vice‑chair, and agency representatives. § 2802(b)

  • Communication Tools
Facilitates the Committee’s duty under § 2802(c)(7) to communicate with covered agencies and stakeholders on geospatial technology development, transfer, and exchange.

  • National Coordination
Supports covered agencies in meeting their responsibilities under § 2808(a)(7)—partnering with federal, state, tribal, local governments, academia, and private sector to collect, integrate, maintain, disseminate, and preserve geospatial data, building on existing non‑Federal sources.

  • International Engagement
Aligns with the Committee’s international coordination mandate under § 2802(c)(9), supporting collaboration with global spatial data infrastructure organizations.
